This light weight light shroud fits the Meade 12" LightBridge truss-tube Dobsonian reflector only.

It improves image contrast, protects the mirror from dropped eyepieces, and retards the formation of dew. The two-layer light shroud has a layer of black nylon on the inside to improve contrast and a layer of aluminum-colored soft plastic (similar to shower curtain material) on the outside. This sheds dew and reflects light to keep the scope cooler during the day. Sewn-in elastic at the top and bottom of the shroud provides a snug fit around the truss tubes. The light shroud wraps around the LightBridge and is held closed by strips of Velcro running the length of the shroud, making it easy to install on your assembled scope, and equally easy to remove when you’re done observing.
