Lanthanum Superwide™ 1.25" Eyepieces Lanthanum Superwides transform ordinary telescopic observing into an extra-ordinary visual adventure. Their superwide 65° apparent field of view opens up the cosmos, allowing more of its riches to be admired at one time. Sophisticated eight-element, multi-coated lens assembly endows each Superwide eyepiece with an amazing 20mm of eye relief—enough for eyeglass wearers to enjoy the full field of view. A single rare-earth Lanthanum lens element has been incorporated to provide superior image correction. Other nice features include a rubber traction ring, a captive setscrew recess in the 1.25" barrel, color banding for easier identification, and a soft eyeguard.
